Jadwiga Łopata – Ambassador of Female Entrepreneurship
We are very pleased to inform you that the Director of the ICPPC Ecocentre and social activist, Jadwiga Łopata, was awarded the title of an Ambassador of Female Entrepreneurship.
‘I am very happy that my work for the promotion of ecological lifestyle has been recognised and appreciated. Poland has a great potential to become the leading country promoting ecological solutions. The ICPPC Ecocentre which I run together with my son is the first place in Poland in which the visitors can see how various ecologically-sound solutions work on a farm. This way many people can easily be convinced to use these technologies in their own homes.’
Over the years, the ICPPC Ecocentre was visited by many guests, the most prominent being Prince Charles – the Prince of Wales, Oscar winner Jan A.P. Kaczmarek, 30 most beautiful women in the world – the finalists of the MISS SUPRANATIONAL 2010 contest many more. Our guests have a chance to taste best Polish organic food.
‘Please feel invited to come to the ICPPC Ecocentre,’ says Jadwiga Łopata, a Goldman Prize winner (2002). ‘Everyone should visit us to see that IT IS POSSIBLE to lead a comfortable and meaningful life, in harmony with our natural and cultural heritage.’ The Goldman Prize, which is sometimes called ‘ecological Nobel prize’ allowed for the development of the ICPPC Ecocentre, located in a beautiful village, 40 kilometres from Krakow.
